Turn the estimate into a rental plan.
Tell us about existing restrooms, peak-use breaks, children, staff, food vendors and how the site is laid out. A distributed event may need more than one restroom cluster. A reception with a simultaneous break can need additional capacity even when total attendance is modest.
Use the estimate to start your equipment discussion. We refine the number with your event hours, available building restrooms, accessible facilities and the planned cleaning schedule.
Plan accessible units and handwashing separately.
Decide where accessible facilities belong within each cluster, and include a usable route and washing facilities. Our accessible rental guide explains the unit sizes and public-event planning considerations. Our handwashing guide helps plan sinks and refills.
Use the venue’s approved restroom plan.
A park booking can specify different quantities from this general estimate. For a CARD park event, review the district’s restroom requirements and confirm the final layout before ordering.
Work crews need a separate calculation.
Event attendance is different from a construction shift. Review California’s toilet and washing rules with the site supervisor, including the crew arrangements and any applicable exceptions. Start with our construction sanitation guide.
Need a trailer instead?
Trailer station count, tank capacity and servicing need to be matched to the event. Send us the guest count, hours, space, water and power information, and we’ll compare the trailer options with individual portable units.
